Information Use

Log Files

Like most standard Web site servers we use log files. This includes Internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and number of clicks. We examine log files to analyze trends, track and evaluate traffic to our Web site, and gather broad demographic information about our Web site users. Overall, log files helps us evaluate, modify, and improve our online marketing strategies. IP addresses, etc. are not linked to personally identifiable information about our users. We use Urchin, a Web traffic reporting utility to track and analyze our Web site traffic.

Communications from the Site

Special Offers and Updates

We send all existing clients who register for an account a welcoming e-mail to verify their passwords and usernames.

Mailing List

If a user wishes to subscribe to our mailing list, we ask for contact information such as name, e-mail address. We use this information to distribute special offers, company news, and Web site updates to subscribers. Subscribing to our mailing list is, of course, optional, and we provide a way to terminate subscription to our mailing list. Please see the Choice and Opt-out sections for more information.

Service Announcements

On rare occasions, we may send out a strictly service related announcements (such as an unexpected technical problem with our Web site, etc.). We send these announcements to our mailing list subscribers and existing customers. We also post such announcements on our Web site.

We communicate with customers via our Web site, email, or phone, in accordance with their wishes.

Sharing Information

Third Party Intermediaries

We use PayPal to process online payments for our services. PayPal uses state of the art technology, such as the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) and firewalls, to protect and encrypt data processed via PayPal. Service Providers

We partner with subcontractors and our affiliate, BlakGold Innovative, Inc., to provide specific services. For example, when users requests a free estimate or consultation or purchase our services, we share their names and contact information with BlakGold Innovative and with subcontractors (should we require them to complete a project) to enable BlakGold and subcontractors to provide these services. Neither BlakGold Innovative nor any subcontractors use personally identifiable information, except for the purpose of providing services to our clients, as outlined in our affiliate agreement (BlakGold) and subcontractor agreements.

Choice/Opt-out

Users who no longer wish to subscribe to our mailing list may opt-out of receiving these communications by unsubscribing to our mailing list.

Missionuplift.com contains links to other sites. Mission Uplift is not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites. We encourage our users to read the privacy statements of every Web site that collects personally identifiable information. This privacy statement applies solely to information collected by missionuplift.com.

Tell-A-Friend

If a user elects to use our referral service to send one of our Web pages to a friend or to recommend our Web site/company to a friend, we ask for the user's name and e-mail address as well as their friend's name and email address. Mission Uplift will automatically send the friend a one-time e-mail inviting him or her to visit the site. We request the names and e-mail addresses of people who send referral e-mails via our Web site, so their friends can see and trust the source of the e-mail. Mission Uplift stores the names and e-mail addresses entered in our referral service forms solely to track the success of our referral program

Free Consultation Request & Free Estimate Forms

We ask for your name, mailing address, phone number, and e-mail address so that we may contact you, via phone and/or e-mail and send you special offers and promotional materials via mail and e-mail. We give you permission to opt out of receiving special offers and promotional materials by including a checkbox that allows you to specify whether you wish to receive such material. We store this information to develop profiles of potential clients, which help us recruit and market to potential clients. We also store this information so that we may perform the services specified in the form (contact clients for consultations and give clients free estimates for Web Site Package Plans. ) We only share this information with BlakGold Innovative and/or any other third parties (such as subcontractors) that would be involved in performing or providing any of the services listed (such as Web development, hosting, marketing etc.) in both the consultation request form and the free estimate request form.

Security

Information submitted via Missionuplift.com (mailing list, estimate form, consultation request forms, tell a friend forms), is not encrypted or protected via the Secure Sockets Layer protocol. Therefore, any personally identifiable information, such as your name, e-mail address, or phone number, may be viewed by third parties on the Internet. Mission Uplift is currently in the process of securing both our consultation and free estimate request forms via SSL technology.

Notification of Changes

If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post our changes to our privacy statement and Web site. We will also send this announcement to all our mailing list subscribers and to existing clients to ensure that they know what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, we disclose it.
